One of the places that we visited during our stay in Tokyo, Japan was Ueno Zoo.

Ueno Doubutsuen (上野動物園)or Ueno Zoo is the oldest zoo in Japan. It was a few minutes walk from Ueno Station and was pretty accessible.

We went there in the hope of seeing the giant panda but unfortunately, it was no longer there during our visit. There was a signage post that says that the panda passed away due to old age which was really sad. But gladly we found a lot of interesting creatures in there during our trip.

Here are the pictures we took in Ueno Zoo.

I’ve seen a lot of animals that I have never seen before in Ueno Zoo. So if you happen to be interested with animals or an animal lover or even maybe just someone who love seeing something new, then visiting the Ueno Zoo would be really worth a try.
